GEBA-sponsored Egyptian May Day Hosted by Sun Valley Arabians: On Saturday, May 19, 2007 Arabian breeders and enthusiasts gathered for food, fun, and informative lectures on Arabian horses at Herb and Holly Anderson's Sun Valley Arabians. A beautiful sunny day started with a musical liberty presentation, followed by an individual stallion showcase of Sun Valley's magnificent stallions. During lunch Julie Nestor of Night Diamond Arabians gave a well-received lecture on "Clinical Foaling Signs of the Pregnant Mare," covering late pregnancy through foaling. The day concluded with a native costume demonstration with Sun Valley's senior stallion, "Egypt," ridden by Ginger Anderson, and an interesting talk, "History of the Arabian Horse," by Bob Loovis, The Pyramid Society representative of Region 12.
